One of my favorite travel memories is visiting family in Europe and Asia as a child. Experiencing different cultures firsthand—sharing meals, traditions, and everyday life—gave me a deep appreciation for authentic travel and the joy of connection that comes with it.

Build in non-park or resort days to relax, recharge, and soak up the magic at a slower pace. It’s also key to identify your must-do experiences ahead of time—but leave room for spontaneity. Some of the best Disney moments happen when you're not rushing from one plan to the next!

My favorite travel tip is to explore beyond the typical tourist spots. Some of the most memorable and meaningful experiences come from wandering local neighborhoods, trying family-owned restaurants, or striking up conversations with locals. It’s the best way to truly connect with the culture and see a destination beyond the guidebook highlights.
