My Dream Destination:
My dream destination is Ireland. The country's breathtaking landscapes and rolling countryside look like something straight out of a fairytale. As someone who has a passion for agriculture, I would love the opportunity to experience Ireland's farming communities firsthand. Seeing the beautiful countryside, learning about their agricultural practices, and immersing myself in the local culture would make it an unforgettable trip. Ireland perfectly combines my love of nature, history, and farming, making it my ultimate dream destination.
Favorite Travel Memory:
Choosing just one favorite travel memory is almost impossible, but one experience will always hold a special place in my heart.
One of the last times I visited Walt Disney World with my parents and sister, we arrived at Disney's Animal Kingdom before sunrise, excited to rope drop the park. As we were waiting near the entrance, a Cast Member approached us and asked us to step aside. We had no idea what was happening!
Moments later, we were surprised with the incredible honor of being named "Family of the Day." Before the park officially opened, we were escorted through the gates and treated to a private Kilimanjaro Safaris experience.
It wasn't just a ride—it was an unforgettable adventure. We had our own safari driver along with a second Cast Member who shared behind-the-scenes stories, fascinating animal facts, and insights you wouldn't normally hear during a regular safari. It felt like we had the entire savanna to ourselves.
At the end of the experience, we were presented with a beautiful framed "Family of the Day" certificate, a keepsake that still reminds me of that magical morning.
Experiences like this are what make Disney so special. You never know when a little extra pixie dust might find you, and it's moments like these that turn a wonderful vacation into a lifelong memory.
It's one of the reasons I love helping families plan Disney vacations. While magical surprises can never be guaranteed, thoughtful planning allows families to spend less time worrying about logistics and more time making unforgettable memories together. My hope is that every family I help experiences a little bit of that same Disney magic that has kept me coming back year after year.
Disney Travel Advice:
One of my favorite Disney tips to share—whether I'm talking to family, friends, clients, or even a stranger planning their first trip—is to **take advantage of the free ice water at Starbucks!
Many people assume that because Starbucks is located inside the Disney parks, they'll have to pay for a cup of water. Fortunately, that's not the case! Just like any other Starbucks location, you can ask for a complimentary cup of ice water, making it an easy way to stay hydrated without spending extra money on bottled water.
Florida's heat can be intense, and staying hydrated is one of the best ways to keep everyone in your group feeling their best throughout the day. A quick stop at Starbucks for free water can save you money and help you avoid dehydration—especially during those long park days.
It's a simple tip, but sometimes the smallest pieces of advice make the biggest difference. I love sharing little tricks like this to help families have a more comfortable, enjoyable, and magical Disney vacation!
My Favorite Travel Tip:
My favorite travel tip is simple: use a travel agent!
Even before I became a Genie Travel Co. advisor, I always worked with a travel agent to plan my Disney vacations—even though I knew I could book them myself. The value they provide is incredible! Travel advisors are trained to find the best promotions, help secure those hard-to-get dining and experience reservations, and offer insider knowledge thanks to the education and resources available to them.
One of the biggest misconceptions is that using a travel agent costs extra. In reality, their commission is already built into the price of your vacation. Whether you use a travel advisor or book directly, you're paying the same price—so why not take advantage of the personalized service, expert guidance, and time savings? It's truly one of the best ways to make your vacation as stress-free and magical as possible.
Why should you book your vacation with me?
Disney has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've been visiting Walt Disney World since I was 3 years old and have now experienced the magic more than 15 times! Every trip teaches me something new, and I stay up to date with the latest Disney news, policies, promotions, and training so I can provide my clients with the most current information available.
I truly love helping families create magical vacations. There is nothing better than hearing about the memories made on a dream trip. On the other hand, it breaks my heart when someone tells me they didn't enjoy their Disney vacation because it wasn't what they expected. More often than not, it comes down to planning. Disney vacations are unlike any other—they require strategy, knowledge, and preparation. Without the right guidance, it can quickly become overwhelming, especially for first-time visitors.
While social media and Facebook groups are full of advice, they are also filled with conflicting information from people whose experiences may not apply to your vacation. When you work with me, you'll have someone in your corner who knows Disney inside and out, stays current on the latest changes, and is committed to creating a vacation that's tailored specifically to your family's needs, budget, and travel style.
Beyond Disney, I also have the incredible opportunity to travel internationally thanks to my brother-in-law's service in the United States Air Force. These experiences have allowed me to explore multiple destinations around the world, giving me firsthand knowledge of international travel and a greater appreciation for the different ways families love to vacation.
Whether you're dreaming of your first Disney adventure, returning to experience the magic again, setting sail on a Disney Cruise, exploring with Adventures by Disney, or planning another unforgettable getaway, I'm here to take the stress out of planning so you can focus on making memories that will last a lifetime.
Let's start planning your next adventure!
