Favorite Travel Memory: 

In 2014, I took three of my children on our very first trip to Walt Disney World—and it was my first visit as well. From the moment we arrived, I was completely hooked on the magic of Disney!

What made that trip even more special was that my son, who has autism, was celebrating his 12th birthday. Watching him experience Walt Disney World was something I will never forget. One of my favorite memories was seeing the pure joy on his face during the Electrical Parade.

For our family, this trip was especially meaningful because it was the first time we had been able to enjoy an extended family outing without him becoming overwhelmed for the majority of the experience. Seeing him relaxed, happy, and fully enjoying the magic made every moment—and every dollar spent—completely worth it.

That first Disney trip sparked a love for travel and for creating meaningful experiences that families will remember forever.

Disney Travel Advice:

Plan ahead but leave room for a little magic. Know your must-do rides, dining, and experiences before you arrive, but don't schedule every minute of your day. Some of the best Disney memories happen when you slow down, explore, and enjoy the little details. And most importantly, Disney isn't one-size-fits-all. The perfect trip is the one you planned around YOU and the memories you want to bring home.

My Favorite Travel Tip:

Always pack a little patience and a backup plan. Travel rarely goes exactly as expected, but sometimes the detours make the best stories. And one more thing, take the picture! You'll never regret having too many memories.
