Favorite Travel Memory: 

I have two Disney memories that will stay with me forever.

The first is when my parents took me on our "once-in-a-lifetime" trip to Disney. I still remember the excitement and wonder of experiencing it all for the very first time.

Years later, I took my own children when my oldest was eleven. Watching them experience that same magic gave me a completely different perspective. As a parent, I appreciated the trip even more than I did as a teenager. In that moment, I truly understood why my parents worked so hard to save for our vacation and create those memories for me.

Disney really is a magical place, not because of the rides or the castles, but because it creates moments your family will remember forever.

And for those of you navigating the preteen and teenage years, here's something I didn't expect: Disney gives kids permission to simply be kids. In a world where they're often encouraged to grow up too fast, that's a gift that's becoming harder and harder to find.
