Favorite Travel Memory:
One of my new favorite Disney memories will always be experiencing EPCOT with my husband for the very first time together! I had been to EPCOT before, but this was my husband’s first time experiencing the magic. Since this was our honeymoon and our first solo trip together without the kids, we wanted to make the most of every moment.
We decided to utilize Lightning Lane passes, which gave us more time to enjoy the park and experience some of the attractions we were most excited about. And then came one of the highlights of our trip… Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind! We got “I Ran” as our song, and honestly, it couldn’t have been a better choice! From start to finish, we were laughing, screaming, and having the absolute best time. It quickly became our new favorite Disney attraction!
Of course, we couldn’t visit EPCOT without doing what EPCOT does best—eating and drinking around the world!
We had so much fun trying new snacks, exploring the different countries, and making our way around World Showcase at our own pace. And while we absolutely missed our kids, there was something so special about having a little time that was just ours.This trip reminded me that Disney can also be about celebrating your marriage, making new memories and trying new things!
Disney Travel Advice:
Disney can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming, especially for first-time visitors! Instead of trying to fit everything into one day, plan your Disney day around your family, not the park! Focus on your children’s needs, interests. Little ones can tire out quickly, so slow down when you need to, and leave room for those unexpected magical moments too! The goal is to create a day that feels magical for everyone!
Disney days are long days, so comfort is definitely a key factor! I suggest choosing lightweight, breathable clothing and, most importantly, comfortable shoes. You’ll be walking much more than you probably expect, so skip the brand-new shoes and bring a pair you already know you can be comfortable in.

My Favorite Travel Tip:
If you can, plan to arrive at the castle early for the fireworks! Getting there ahead of time gives your family a better chance at finding a great viewing spot and settling in before the magic begins!
