My Dream Destination
1. Antarctica – I’ve always dreamed of stepping foot on all seven continents, and so far, I’ve checked off four. While South America and Australia are much easier to reach, I hope to one day embark on an expedition to Antarctica. The untouched landscapes, wildlife, and sheer remoteness of the continent make it a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.
2. Tokyo Disney – Disney parks hold a special place in my heart, and Tokyo Disney is at the top of my must-visit list. From the immersive theming to the unique attractions and cultural influences, I can't wait to experience the magic of Disney in Japan.
Both of these destinations are completely different, but they represent my love for adventure, exploration, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
Favorite Travel Memory:
One of my favorite travel memories was a trip around Europe with my husband and our daughter who was 16 months old at the time. Traveling with her at that age was such a joy—she was curious about everything, and exploring new places together as a family made the experience even more meaningful.
We began our journey in Copenhagen, Denmark, which quickly became one of my favorite cities. It was incredibly accessible and family-friendly, allowing us to explore with ease. I still dream about the cardamom bun from Juno the Bakery—absolutely delicious!
From there, we traveled to England, starting in Southampton, where we wandered through the castle remains scattered across the city, taking in the rich history. Next, we spent a weekend in London, walking over six miles to soak up all the sights—we trekked from the Marble Arch to Tower Bridge. Experiencing these iconic places together made the journey unforgettable.
Our final stop was France, where we took a scenic drive from Toulouse to Bordeaux to Paris, enjoying the countryside and Pyrenees Mountains along the way. Exploring Paris was an adventure, traveling by boat, metro, and foot to see as much of the city as possible. We loved eating our way through the city, discovering new flavors at every stop. One of the most unique experiences was visiting Disneyland Paris and staying at Hotel Cheyenne—it was fascinating to experience a Disney park in a whole new setting.
This trip was filled with unforgettable moments, and it’s one we’ll always cherish as a family. If I could, I’d love to tell you all about it in person and share more of what made it so special!
Disney Travel Advice:
One of the best ways to make the most of a Disney trip is to plan ahead. There’s so much to see and do, and a little preparation can help maximize your time while minimizing stress. From securing park reservations to booking dining experiences and researching ride strategies, a well-thought-out plan ensures a smoother and more magical experience for everyone.
Another key tip? Stay on Disney property! Not only does it get you to the magic faster—whether via monorail, boat, skyliner, or direct bus service—but it also keeps the magic going even after you leave the park gates. Disney resorts are themed down to the smallest details, offering immersive experiences that make you feel like the adventure never ends. Plus, staying on property often comes with perks like early park entry and extended evening hours, helping you enjoy even more of what Disney has to offer.
Planning a Disney trip can feel overwhelming, but the good news is I can help take the stress out of it! As your travel planner, I can handle all the details—booking accommodations, organizing park days, securing dining reservations, and creating the perfect itinerary—so you can focus on enjoying the magic.
By combining smart planning with the convenience of staying on property—and letting me take care of the details—you’ll be set for an unforgettable trip from start to finish!
My Favorite Travel Tip:
Top 3 Travel Tips:
1. Have a base plan but embrace flexibility. Structured plans help make the most of your trip, but leaving room for unexpected discoveries can lead to the best memories. Sometimes the best experiences happen when you venture off course!
2. Carry snacks—"never underestimate the power of low blood sugar."- my Father-in-Law. Hunger can derail even the best travel day. A quick snack can turn a cranky moment into an enjoyable one—especially when exploring on foot or tackling long travel days.
3. Take a moment to soak it in. Travel is such a gift, and it’s easy to get caught up in itineraries and logistics. Slowing down, noticing the colors, listening to the sounds, smelling the smells, and simply being in the moment make for truly unforgettable experiences.
