My Dream Destination
Besides a globetrotting adventure that takes me to all of the Disney Parks? One day I would like to travel to New Zealand and visit Hobbiton. Or travel to historic sites across Europe.
Favorite Travel Memory:
I will never forget the entirety of my 2018 trip to Disney World. It was the last trip I got to take with my grandfather-but it was also the first time we took him to a Disney Resort Hotel. We stayed at the Art of Animation in a cars suite. Every time we left our suite my cousin would read the set of Rust-Eze signs that lined the walkway. EVERY time. Except the morning after our night at Mickey's not so Scary Halloween Party. He was tired when we went for breakfast and didn't read the signs...until my grandfather planted himself in front of the first one and refused to move until he read them. It was such a silly moment, but letting out our inner child is just what me and my family do at Disney!
In August 2024 we returned to the Art of Animation. My cousin opted to stay home for that trip, so the first thing we did when we brought the bags to our room was run from the Lion King Suites to the Cars side. We got him on a video call and you could just hear the joy in his voice as he read the signs again
Disney Travel Advice:
Have a flexible plan! It doesn't have to be planned to the minute, but going into a park with a general idea of what you want to do can help make the most out of your day!
For example: when we go to Magic Kingdom at Disney World some of our must-do's are the Jungle Cruise, Pirates, Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and Small World. So we start in Adventureland and make our way around the park. By the time we get to Tomorrowland the rides in that area (besides Tron, of course) have a shorter wait time! We can get all of our must-do's done, plus plenty of time to get other rides done-or backtrack and do our favorites again! Plus if a ride went down, we weren't worried about not being able to ride it!
I've done trips where we picked a park and had a 'go with the flow' attitude-and while they were fun trips, I feel like there were a lot of attractions that we missed.
My Favorite Travel Tip:
As someone who is a certified over packer, Dollar Tree is full of low budget items to help keep your bag organized. Mesh bags for your clothing items, shower caps for your shoes to keep your bag clean, and of course travel sized containers and and everyday necessities. If you don't take an extra bag for purchases made on your trip, which not everyone does, you can buy a vacuum sealed storage bag for your dirty laundry. This can save you a ton of space for all of your souvenirs!
Why should you book your vacation with me?
I've been to Disney over 15 times in the past 20 years. I've stayed off property, and on property in Resorts that range from All Star Movies to the Polynesian. I've gone with young children, older children, solo, and with adults. The Disney Parks have been a passion of mine since childhood, with Universal being added after my first trip in 2009. I want to use my knowledge and passion to get you the vacation of your dreams so you can make memories that will last a lifetime!
